1. 2009-2010 Budget Considerations

Minutes: 

A Powerpoint presentation and handout were provided to the Board members outlining potential budget cuts for the 2009-2010 school year.  Board members came to a consensus on all items included in the handout with the exception of the following, to be discussed at a later date:

#1    Reduce salaries of Superintendent/School Board members by 3%

#3    Reduce salaries of Administrators by 3%

#4    Reduce Elementary AP's & 1-2 Secondary AP's to 11 Month

#16  Eliminate insurance benefits to retirees

#23  Eliminate ParentLink

#30  Eliminate all elementary supplements & secondary department heads

#31  Eliminate all supplements

#33  Recommend roll-back employee salaries by 3% to 2007-2008

#34  Close one school

#35  Close second school
